Community Guidelines

• Treat every member with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats and personal attacks are prohibited.
• Avoid unnecessary spam, excessive mentions and unwanted advertisements.
• Keep all content appropriate. NSFW content, inappropriate usernames and profile pictures are not permitted.
• Use the designated channels for their intended purposes.
• Do not impersonate staff members or other players.
• Follow staff instructions. If you disagree with a decision, use the appeal system instead of arguing publicly.

Combat Regulations

• Combat logging is strictly prohibited. Disconnecting to escape an ongoing fight is not allowed.
• Vision logging will not be considered as combat log is of 1 minute.
• Elytras cannot be used during active combat or to escape an opponent’s vision.
• End Crystals, Respawn Anchors and bed explosions are prohibited during PvP.
• TNT Minecarts are permitted for traps and combat, with a maximum damage limit of 3.5 hearts.
• Intentionally exploiting combat mechanics to escape fights is prohibited.

Cheating & Unfair Advantages

• Hacked clients, unfair advantages and external cheats are strictly forbidden.
• Duplication glitches and item duplication methods are prohibited.
• X-ray, seed cracking and world-generation prediction tools are not allowed.
• Freecam, unfair minimaps and prohibited player-tracking modifications are forbidden.
• Abusing bugs or unintended mechanics for personal benefit will result in punishment.
• Replay Mod is permitted for recording and reviewing gameplay, but must not be manipulated to create misleading evidence.

World Regulations

• The End dimension will remain inaccessible until the official End War event.
• Exploiting world-generation or server mechanics is prohibited.
• Players must not interfere with ongoing staff investigations.
• Finding a loophole in a rule does not make exploiting it acceptable.
• Any discovered server bug must be reported to the administration.

New Player Protection

• Newly joined players receive a protection period of 30 minutes.
• Killing completely unequipped players near spawn for easy loot is prohibited.
• Players cannot intentionally exploit the protection system to gain an unfair advantage.
• Exception: If the protected player initiates an attack or steals another player’s belongings, the victim may defend themselves.

Teams & Alliances

• Team limit - 9
• Alliance - 1
• Every team must be officially registered with the administration.
• Permanent alliances between different teams are not permitted.
• Players cannot use alternate accounts to bypass team restrictions.
• Targeting is allowed as long as it does not involve prohibited teaming.
• Staff may investigate suspicious coordination between supposedly independent teams.

Trades, Debts & IOUs

• All IOUs must have verifiable physical or in-game evidence.
• Verbal agreements without evidence may not be accepted as valid claims.
• IOUs between temporary teammates or allied players will not be recognized.
• Fabricating screenshots or transaction evidence is strictly prohibited.
• Staff reserve the right to reject suspicious or unverifiable claims.

Recording & Replay Requirements

• Players participating in competitive PvP must keep Replay Mod recording enabled.
• Replay footage must not be edited or manipulated to misrepresent events.
• Missing recordings may result in a report being rejected if sufficient evidence cannot be provided.
• Replay Mod footage alone is not conclusive proof of hacking because of recording delays.
• Flashback recordings follow the same evidence limitations.
• Replay footage may be used to investigate combat logging, vision logging and other gameplay violations.

Reports & Staff Investigations

• All rule violations must be reported through the official support or report system.
• Reports should include clear screenshots, recordings or other relevant evidence.
• False reports and deliberately misleading evidence are punishable.
• Staff members may request additional information before making a decision.
• Players must not interfere with ongoing investigations.

Punishments & Appeals

• Players who believe they received an incorrect punishment may submit an appeal through a support ticket.
• Appeals must contain a clear explanation and relevant evidence.
• Repeatedly arguing about punishments outside the appeal system is discouraged.
• Final decisions will be made by the Mace SMP administration.

Important

These rules apply to every player regardless of rank, team, staff connections or reputation.

The administration reserves the right to take action against behaviour that damages fair gameplay or the integrity of Mace SMP.

Enchant limits

• Armor: Protection IV.
• Weapon: Sharpness V.
• Mace: Density IV.
• Fire Aspect I and Knockback I maximum.
• Lunge, Thorns, Flame and Breach are banned.

Potion limits

• Strength II and Speed II maximum.
• Invisibility, Regeneration and Turtle Master are banned.

Item limits

• Golden apples: 128. Enchanted golden apples are banned.
• Totems: 2. Cobwebs: 128.
• XP bottles: 192. Water buckets: 2.

Banned items

• Netherite armor is banned unless obtained from an event.
• Maces, tridents, spears, ender pearls and illegal items are banned.
• Kit rules must be followed or it may lead to a ban.
